The Moving Body provides a hybrid of online self paced guided classes, face to face 1:1 sessions with personalised training and group pilates events. Move, Flow, and Transform your body and mind with us. 

The Moving body is designed for the flexibility of a busy lifestyle, accessible to all levels in many stages of their fitness and wellness journey at any age, space and time.

Creativity & Movement

The Moving Body began as a startup concept, Christiana Stewart the founder, commenced studying mat pilates during the pandemic in 2021. As a dancer with over 20 years experience in the industry performing, pilates was integrated as a synergy to enhance dance performance, condition the body for pre and rehabilitation. Mending her injury with pilates 1:1 sessions, Christiana advocates for this method of movement wholeheartedly. Since this time, Christiana has worked internationally instructing pilates across world class studios in Australia and the UK. The Moving Body offers a unique approach combining education from contemporary and classical pilates with cardio, resistance, and strength training.Adding our signature TMB multi- planner programming, prepares you to be challenged by the directions of your body on the mat.

Our Vision

From left to right, forward and back, up and down. Every class has varying challenges that flow. Our classes vary from low-impact to high intensity allowing you to gain strength, mobility and confidence.

Pilates On Demand is a subscription-based online service that gives you access to pre-recorded Mat Pilates classes anytime, anywhere, using any device with internet access.

Yes, there are classes suitable for all levels. You can start with Repeat and Evolve classes as these are beginner friendly and focus on form and breath. Gradually you can build your way up to our more advanced classes including Weighted and Warm and Heart Rate Hitter. All classes specify the level of difficulty. Consult your doctor before beginning any new exercise routine if you have health concerns.

We offer 4 different class styles of Mat Pilates classes (no machine needed) including Repeat and Evolve, No Weights, No Worries, Heart Rate Hitter and Weighted And Warm. Every class will have a targeted muscle group focus and all areas of the body  core, glutes, back will be worked.

Our classes will specify if they are pregnancy friendly or not. Before purchasing a membership with The Moving Body By Christiana, consult your doctor and contact us directly. Then we can discuss to see what would be most beneficial for you

Our workouts are designed to be as flexible as you. Whether you’re travelling and craving movement, at home with the kids or working from home. We always recommend a soft surface beneath you, a yoga/ pilates mat works best.  Every class will specify what you need, optional props like resistance bands, light weights, or Pilates rings can enhance and intensify the challenge but they’re not mandatory. Our No Weights, No Worries classes will just require you. 

Classes range from quick 5- 10-minute sessions to full 30+-minute workouts. There is something for everyone’s unique schedule.

Yes! We offer guided programs that have variety from our 4 class styles to help you stay consistent.

Yes! We upload new classes for you monthly to keep your workouts varied and motivating.You can rewatch and repeat any of the classes again to improve your form.
